Developer of MIRROR PBP™ |
Clinical Mental Health Counselor-in-Training | Integrated Attachment Theory™ Coach | Regulation & Pattern Integration Practitioner | Emotional Wellness Strategist
Rubi Acevedo-Hendricks is the developer of MIRROR PBP™ and a Clinical Mental Health Counselor-in-Training (LPC pathway) specializing in emotional regulation, behavioral transformation, and identity reconstruction. She integrates trauma-informed practice, attachment science, and subconscious pattern decoding to support sustainable personal and relational change.
With over 25 years of global experience in organizational development, human behavior, and transformational event production, Rubi brings a rare combination of strategic insight and emotional depth. Her work bridges performance and healing — helping individuals move from reactive survival patterns to regulated, intentional self-leadership.
Rubi is the creator of MIRROR PBP™, a psycho-biological growth framework rooted in Mindful Insight, Reflective Recognition, and Observational Reframing. This structured process helps clients:
• Decode emotional triggers and core beliefs
• Stabilize the nervous system
• Understand attachment-driven relational patterns
• Repattern limiting subconscious narratives
• Align behavior with values and long-term identity
Her approach integrates evidence-based tools, including DBT-informed skills, attachment-informed coaching, and regulation-based interventions.
As a Certified and Accredited Integrated Attachment Theory™ Coach and Decoding Practitioner, Rubi supports clients navigating high-stakes transitions, accountability processes, relational disruption, and identity reinvention.
In clinical settings, she works with individuals engaged in structured or mandated counseling contexts, focusing on accountability, nervous system stabilization, and sustainable behavioral change. Her philosophy is clear:
-Regulation precedes insight.
-Insight precedes choice.
-Repeated choice shapes identity.
Rubi is the former founder of BRC Event Management Services. While she no longer organizes retreats or conferences, she remains available for consulting in transformational event strategy and leadership experience design.
Rubi holds an MBA and a Master’s in Human Resource Management and is pursuing doctoral studies in Human Behavior — driven by her lifelong fascination with the human experience and the intersection
of biology, belief, and behavior.
At the center of her work is a simple conviction:
Sustainable change happens when awareness, regulation, and accountability meet compassion and structure.

Nervous System Regulation
Learn to calm overwhelm, recover from stress, and stay grounded during challenging situations. Develop practical somatic tools that shift you from reactivity to presence and clarity. Regulation creates the stability required for meaningful change — the foundation from which quantum shifts in behavior become possible.
Emotional Pattern Decoding
Identify the deeper meaning behind emotional reactions. Explore triggers, unmet needs, and recurring dynamics to transform reactive cycles into informed self-awareness. When a pattern is observed without reaction, its trajectory changes — awareness becomes the turning point.
Subconscious Repatterning
Replace limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging narratives with supportive, aligned ones. Using neuroscience-informed strategies, update outdated conditioning and create space for sustainable behavioral change. True transformation is often nonlinear — a single regulated response can reorganize long-standing patterns at their root.
Identity & Relational Repair
Reconnect with your authentic values and self-concept while addressing recurring relational dynamics. Strengthen boundaries, cultivate self-trust, and foster secure, balanced connection. Identity does not change through force; it reorganizes through repeated, intentional choice.
Attachment Integration
Understand how your attachment style (Anxious, Dismissive, Fearful-Avoidant, Secure) influences communication, intimacy, and conflict. Learn practical strategies to move toward secure functioning. Secure attachment develops through regulation, consistency, and practiced safety — not intensity.
Intentional Goal Alignment
Translate insight into action. Build structured, achievable goals that align with your values, long-term vision, and professional performance. When awareness meets stability, decision-making becomes strategic — and small shifts can create disproportionate, lasting impact.
Your thoughts don’t just live in your head—they move through your body. In this MIRROR PBP™ reflection, we explore how belief, emotion, and neurochemistry are woven together in a living system of signals and sensations.
This is a reclamation of memory. A way to honor what was felt, and gently release what was never meant to be carried.

This work helps clients move from self-judgment to self-understanding, from reactive fight, flight, freeze, or fawn patterns to intentional choice, and from emotional survival to aligned, sustainable transformation.
Through regulation and insight, clients learn to decode emotional patterns, release limiting beliefs, align behavior with core values, reconstruct identity after rupture or transition, and reclaim presence, agency, and steadiness in life and leadership.
o Recognize and decode emotional patterns with clarity and compassion
o Release limiting beliefs that no longer reflect their current identity
o Align behavior with core values, needs, and long-term direction
o Reconstruct identity following rupture, transition, or reinvention
o Reclaim agency, presence, and steadiness in both life and leadership

“Accountability without regulation becomes shame. Regulation without accountability becomes avoidance.”
Self-acceptance is not the end of the journey—it’s the doorway to sustainable growth.
Your progress should be based on your evidence and experience.
Your results should be anchored in aligned, in desired, intention and empowered action.”
